We offer the official North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Training Course required to apply for your North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.
All classes start at 8:00 a.m. and finish after the Shooting Qualification. This is a full day of training.

The state of North Carolina requires any person applying for a NC Concealed Carry Handgun Permit to complete an authorized Concealed Carry Handgun Training program from an certified
Concealed Carry Handgun Firearms Instructor. The program consists of Eight (8) hours of classroom training followed by a written test, then a shooting qualification on the firing range.
Classroom training consists of training on the following topics:
The Written test consists of 20 questions covering the above listed course topics. You must achieve a minimum of 70% (14 out of 20) to pass the test and move on to the shooting qualification.
The Shooting Qualification is a 40-round course of fire. Students must achieve a minimum qualifying score of 70% (28 out of 40) on a B-27 human silhouette, or equivalent, target. You must hit anywhere on the silhouette for the shot to count. Students must shoot the listed number of rounds from the following distances:
Students must pass the Written Test & Shooting Qualification in order to pass the course and receive their certificate.

Individuals aged 18-20 may complete the NC-CCH Training Course and earn their training certificate. The information on Legal Issues pertaining to the Use of Deadly Force and Handgun Safety contained in the NC-CCH course are valuable at any age. Residents of NC can obtain a concealed carry permit after they turn 21 years of age by applying with their County Sheriff's Office. You must apply with the Sheriff's Office in the county of your legal residence as they are over the application process..
